Dana Mobley-Hammett

Dana Mobley-Hammett is an Inspirational/Motivational Speaker and Passionate Writer. She is the Author of Divorce Hurts and Time Out, non-fiction relationship self-help books regarding healing the hurt and your heart to move forward. She has a strong desire to provide help to anyone dealing with a broken heart and helping them heal from the effects especially divorce or broken relationships. Dana felt that God intended for her to write her story to share with others. It was important to complete her purpose to help others understand they are not alone, because divorce hurts and is never easy, and the hurt is very real. Dana’s hope is this her books will be helpful while going through the process of healing, by reading the chapters of her life.

Dana is the daughter of John and Laura Mobley Sr., she grew up in Oklahoma, until she married and moved to Texas. Dana has two children from her twenty-two year marriage that ended in divorce, and she has one grandchild. Dana has since remarried to her devoted husband (Richard) and best friend, along with her now blended family that includes a total of six children.

Dana specializes in Relationship Interventions to rebuild and promote healthy and positive lifestyle changes. She is dedicated to helping heal the hurt and pain associated with a broken relationship or divorce. It is her desire to keep relationships or marriages together through effective behaviors that promote positive attitude changes. Dana is a Christian and bases her beliefs and foundation on God’s Word. Dana’s Prayer is that your heart will heal and the hurt will go away while learning to use positive communication and lifestyle changes in a healthy and productive way.

Dana has been a member and faithful servant of the Mesquite Friendship Baptist Church for more than 18 years, Pastor Terry M. Turner and First Lady, Nancy Turner. She has held leadership positions in the Women’s ministry, Couples ministry, Choir ministry and Usher ministry.

Dana’s experience involves healing hurting hearts in broken relationship (martial problems, divorce recovery, remarriage and blended family issues. She is also an experienced Corporate Diversity, Information and Communication Trainer, dedicated to rebuilding and creating a healthy productive environment to achieve greatness to become the "Best You!"

Dana has also had the opportunity to lead several speaking engagements on various topics for other ministries and organizations.
